Leather, Smoke, and Your Eyes
Pungent odor of smoke and old leather before I dropped off to sleep yesterday. Attempting resolution by making a fake leather thing with words and smoke. Tip of lid to actionfx and Chandra Baker tutorials. My texture is not as impressive as a photo. More satisfying than buying a photo, though. For me, anyway.

On the Road
I attempt to amuse myself. Two friends admitted to getting depressed when they weren't creating. It's a hard job and when you have this disease you have to do it. A college German professor I hated said one useful thing all year, "Writers must write. Even if they write and then put it away in a drawer."
