A member of the local Virginia Writer's club gave me feedback on one of my essays. He wrote "Do you ever write anything that has a different purpose other than just informing?" Yes. But why is "just informing" not enough? Besides, there is no such thing as "just informing" especially when I'm informing you about how I feel or my point of view.
