Be an artist and join with artists around the world. Since December of 2007 a beach art project is being built around the world, created by whoever happens to be on a beach and collects stones. The project is hosted by the Victoria and Albert Museum and is the concept of the artist Sue Lawty. There are 261 entries from Europe and only 96 from North America. Certainly we have lots of excellent beaches here and I'm sure that most all of them have stones of one type or another. Next time I go to the beach I promise to contribute. And you can, too!
